2025 Arts and Culture Award

To be eligible for the Arts & Culture Award of the Year Award, The nominee must:

• Reside within the Fraser Coast Regional Council Area, or alternatively where this is not the case, the nomination must demonstrate that a significant contribution has been made by the nominee to the Fraser Coast Regional Council community and that they are considered to be part of the community.
• Not have received the Cultural Award of the Year, Young Cultural Award of the Year or Arts and Culture Award of the Year in the last five years.

The Arts and Culture Award of the Year will be awarded to the nominee who has:

• Shown vision, leadership, innovation or creativity in the arts and/or cultural community.
• Been a role model that people can aspire to.
• Provided their time in contributing to the community during the current year/and or given outstanding service to the community over a number of years.
• Provided their contribution on a voluntary basis or exceeding the normal requirements of the nominee’s paid work.
• Made an outstanding contribution -by an individual or group- to the cultural and creative life of the region. Open to all ages (under 18 nominees must have permission from a parent or guardian).
