2025 Citizen of the Year

To be eligible for the Citizen of the Year Award, the nominee must:

• Reside within the Fraser Coast Regional Council Area, or alternatively where this is not the case, the nomination must demonstrate that a significant contribution has been made by the nominee to the Fraser Coast Regional Council community and that they are considered to be part of the community.
• Not have received the Citizen of the Year award in the last five years.

• Is an inspirational role model and displays continued excellence in their field and in the community.
• Has shown a significant and outstanding contribution to the community.
• Provided their time in contributing to the community during the current year/and or given outstanding service to the community over a number of years.
• Has provided their contribution on a voluntary basis or exceeded the normal requirements of the nominee’s paid work.
