2026 Sport and Wellbeing Award

To be eligible for the Sport and Wellbeing Award of the Year Award, The nominee must:

• Reside within the Fraser Coast Regional Council Area, or alternatively where this is not the case, the nomination must demonstrate that a significant contribution has been made by the nominee to the Fraser Coast Regional Council community and that they are considered to be part of the community
• Not have received the Sportsperson of the Year award, Young Sportsperson of the Year award or Sport and Wellbeing Award of the Year in the last five years.

The Sport and Wellbeing Award of the Year will be awarded to the nominee who has provided:

• An outstanding contribution by an individual or group that has made a significant contribution towards the sporting, recreational, or health and wellbeing achievements of the region. Open to all ages (under 18 nominees must have permission from a parent or guardian)
• Provided their contribution on a voluntary basis or exceeded the normal requirements of the nominee’s paid work.
