The Fraser Coast Regional Council will be hosting the 2021 Fraser Coast Sports Awards. The event will acknowledge and celebrate the efforts of the Fraser Coast community sporting groups - their volunteers, players, officials, coaches and sporting achievements over the past 18 months.
To acknowledge the efforts and achievements of the local sporting community for 2020-21, we would like to request your assistance in recognising teammates, players, volunteers, administrators, coaches and officials by completing and submitting the attached nomination form.
Self-nominations will be accepted. Please refer to the award categories and criteria in the Sports Awards Guidelines.
NOMINATIONS ARE OPEN AND WILL CLOSE 7 MARCH 2021.
Awards ceremony will take place at the Brolga Theatre on 28 March, 12pm
The nominee must be:
- A Fraser Coast resident
- An amateur sportsperson
The following are not eligible for nomination:
- Professional sportspersons
- Nominees not resident in the Fraser Coast (primary place of residence)
Nominations must meet the criteria below.
CRITERIA FOR NOMINATION
1.Sportspersons must be amateur in status;
2.Junior sportsperson nominations are determined by age under 14 years of age. Masters sportsperson nominations are determined by age - 40 years and over;
3.The award is open to athletes who have their primary residence in the Fraser Coast region;
4.The award is given for an outstanding sporting performance or series of performances.
Nominations will be accepted up to 12 pm on Sunday 7th March 2021
